Residents at York Manor Care Home were delighted to welcome children from Blue Sky Nursery for a day filled with laughter, creativity, and connection. The little ones joined residents for balloon games, lively party songs, and painting sessions, all topped off with delicious homemade cupcakes prepared by York Manor’s talented chef.
This heartwarming partnership marks the beginning of regular visits, with Blue Sky Nursery bringing their children every two weeks to foster meaningful intergenerational relationships.
The joy was palpable from the very first day. Lily Walker, a York Manor resident, shared her thoughts: “They were wonderful and a joy. The sound of children laughing and playing brings me such warmth.”
