York Manor, located at Blue Beck Drive, Shipton Road, York, North Yorkshire, recently celebrated Easter with a day filled with joy and excitement. The atmosphere was buzzing as residents and visitors joined together for a series of heartwarming activities that highlighted the spirit of the season.
One of the most thrilling highlights was a visit from Wild Science, bringing an array of exotic animals to the care home. Residents were captivated as they interacted with the furry and scaly guests, who brought laughter and smiles to everyone present. Many cherished moments were shared as residents, young and old, embraced the chance to learn about these incredible creatures.
Adding to the festivities was a special appearance by Miss York, who is set to represent the city in the forthcoming Miss Great Britain competition. Her warmth and charm were palpable as she mingled with residents and local families, further enriching the day’s celebrations.
Fun and games filled the air along with the delightful presence of a colouring competition. Residents showcased their creativity, turning simple pages into vibrant masterpieces. Winners beamed with pride, with all participants embracing the opportunity to express their artistic talents.
