Trent Bridge Care Home welcomes Notts County FC Youth Team for a festive morning of fun, connection, and Christmas cheer

Nottingham, UK — 4^th December 2025 — Trent Bridge Care Home was transformed into a hub of festive joy yesterday as residents, staff, and the Notts County Football Club (NCFC) Youth Team came together for the home’s annual Christmas Quiz. The much-loved event once again proved to be a heart-warming celebration of community, intergenerational connection, and holiday spirit.

The morning kicked off with an energetic welcome as the NCFC youth players joined residents for a specially curated Christmas Quiz, expertly designed and hosted by Josh, Head of Education at Notts County FC. Featuring a lively mix of trivia rounds tailored for both young visitors and older participants, the quiz sparked conversation, laughter, and plenty of friendly competition.

The atmosphere in the lounge was nothing short of magical. Residents and players teamed up to test their Christmas knowledge, share personal stories, and enjoy the unique camaraderie that only multigenerational events can create. The winning team, captained by resident Margaret, proudly took home a bag of delicious chocolates — which she promptly chose to share with everyone, ensuring the whole room ended the morning feeling like winners. Adding to the excitement, care home staff and NCFC players embraced Elf Day with enthusiasm, donning festive outfits that brought even more colour, joy, and sparkle to the occasion. Pointy hats, cheerful smiles, and jingling bells turned the entire event into a vibrant celebration of the season.
