Trafford Waters Care Home Residents Enjoy Delightful Afternoon Tea Outing

It was all about sweet treats, good company, and cherished memories at Trafford Waters Care Home, as residents recently enjoyed a special afternoon tea outing — and what a wonderful time it was!

After chatting with residents about ideas for their next trip, one suggestion stood out above the rest: afternoon tea. Taking this to heart, the Trafford Waters team organised a visit to the charming Trafford Hall Hotel, where residents were treated to a traditional afternoon tea experience in beautiful surroundings.

The delicious spread included freshly prepared sandwiches, a tempting selection of cakes, and of course, classic scones with clotted cream and jam. The warm and welcoming atmosphere was filled with laughter, conversation, and shared stories as residents enjoyed each other’s company.

“It was such a lovely treat,” said one resident. “The food was delicious, and it was just nice to get out and do something a bit special together.”

The outing was about more than just tea and cake — it was about creating joyful moments and strengthening friendships. Many residents expressed how much they enjoyed the day and are already looking forward to the next trip.
