Sleaford Hall Residents Wish Come True With Tesco

Christine recently spotted Louise, Tesco Community Champion, in her Tesco jacket and said she would love to work there too. From that moment, plans were set in motion to make Christine’s wish a reality 💫

Christine’s husband John came to pick her up, and with Kim (Lifestyle Assistant) by her side, they enjoyed a short drive around Sleaford. Along the way, Christine looked out at all the shops she and John used to visit together — even recognising her favourite, Sleaford Jewellery Shop 💍

When they arrived at Tesco, Louise was there to welcome them. Christine proudly put on her very own blue Tesco jacket and got straight to work — checking shelves, making sure everything was neat and tidy, and even doing a little shopping of her own! Her picks included chocolate digestives, a bunch of roses 🌹 and some dark chocolate 🍫

Next stop… the checkout! Christine became a checkout assistant, scanning items with a huge smile and taking payment like a pro. She said she had a wonderful time and was so happy that her wish had come true 💙

John shared how special it was to spend time away from the care home together, enjoy some fresh air, and go shopping just like they used to. He was incredibly grateful to Kim for making the day possible and for sharing the experience with them.
