Sandpiper Welcomes New Furry Family Member, Molly

Sandpiper Care Home have welcomed a very special new addition to our family—Molly, a beautiful Sprocker Spaniel puppy. Molly was born to Pippa, the Springer Spaniel belonging to our wonderful Administrator, Leanne. After a challenging birth, Pippa underwent a successful C-section, and both mum and pup came through safely.

Leanne, who also owns Molly’s sire, Murphy, is keeping the three together as one happy—but wonderfully chaotic—furry family.

Molly will live with Leanne and her family but will be a regular visitor to Sandpiper, bringing joy and companionship to our residents. The team and residents are already enjoying puppy cuddles and playtimes, enhancing the warm, welcoming atmosphere in the home.

Animal therapy is an important part of our lifestyle programme, offering residents mental stimulation, sensory engagement, and plenty of heartwarming moments. The joy our animals bring is truly incredible, and welcoming Molly has made it even more special.
