Sandpiper Care Home Residents Enjoy Delightful Day Trip to Linc’s Aquatics & Woodthorpe Garden Centre

Residents at Sandpiper Care Home recently enjoyed a wonderful outing to Linc’s Aquatics and Woodthorpe Garden Centre, accompanied by the ever-friendly Pete from Myley Tours, Lifestyle Coordinator Gunvar and Portia.

At Linc’s Aquatics, residents were fascinated by the stunning variety of tropical and freshwater fish, admiring their vibrant colours and unique patterns. The highlight was the enormous indoor pond, where some of the biggest fish we had ever seen surfaced with enthusiastic splashes — as if popping up to say hello.

The trip continued at Woodthorpe Garden Centre, where everyone enjoyed browsing the charming gift shop and even testing out the garden furniture for comfort. Despite the chilly weather, the fresh air and great company made it a truly uplifting day.
