Richard House Home Manager Emma Johnson has been busy arranging an Easter Egg appeal for the Grantham Food Bank.
The Grantham Food Bank is a non-for-profit organisation who is working with local families across Grantham to provide them with support during a time of crisis.
The Food Bank advised that they have been a lot busier than normal and believe this is down to the consistently bad weather we have been experiencing. That mixed with the current cost of living crisis has meant a lot of families have had to choose between heating their homes and buying food. A decision no family should ever have to make.
Richard House Care Home wanted to support this local charity with all the wonderful work they do.
We are requesting the local community kindly donate Easter Eggs. These can be dropped to the care home located on Gorse Road, Grantham. All donations will help our food bank support the local community.
Home Manager Emma Johnson commented ‘The Food Bank Grantham do so much for our local community, here at Richard House we wanted to give back and support them in all the wonderful work they do.’
Richard House also received a visit from Stacey Mcandrew Community Fundraiser from Alzheimer’s society who kindly donated to the Egg Appeal.
Richard House provides residential and dementia care. The home has been designed with residents in mind and provides fantastic facilities. Including a wellness room, games room, garden room, cinema, hairdressing and nail salon and tea room.
