Toray Pines care home offers Residential, Dementia, and Respite Care

Toray Pines is located on School Lane in the historical town of Coningsby. The convenient location of Toray Pines also allows easy access to the resort village of Woodhall Spa, which has long been considered one of Lincolnshire’s most attractive places.

Why choose us?

At Toray Pines care home we offer something for everybody, with a range of facilities, personalised care plans, dedicated team members and engaging activities tailored to our residents’ preferences, you can be sure your loved one is in safe hands. We are delighted to recognise Linda Nicholson (Ancillary Worker finalist) and Jo Johnson (Activity Organiser finalist) for their incredible contributions to making our home a warm and welcoming community.

Our team at Toray Pines understand that the comfort, safety, wellbeing, and happiness are at the heart of all we do, therefore our tailored care plans will include everything from medications to likes and dislikes. We understand how hard the decision to move into care can be, and that’s why our friendly team are on hand every step of the way to support you.

Residents can take part in rehabilitation-focused exercise sessions led by local occupational therapists. These sessions support strength, movement, and confidence. Each week, residents also attend our popular Memory Café. It offers a safe, welcoming space for support, conversation, and connection.

Facilities

This purpose-built home opened in 1990, and has subsequently undergone extensive refurbishment. Spacious and bright bedrooms offer the comforts of a true home away from home. Residents are encouraged to personalise their own space, and maintenance teams are always on hand to hang that cherished family photo.

We value our intergenerational partnership with The Little Acorns Day Nursery. Through regular “Fun Fridays,” toddlers visit the home to enjoy crafts, games, and playtime with residents. These sessions bring energy, laughter, and meaningful connection. Our team also arranges regular outings so residents stay involved in the local community. These include coffee mornings at the Lions Den and visits to nearby landmarks and social spaces. Residents remain active and visible members of the Coningsby community.

Recent events have brought people together across generations. Our Country and Western celebration and inclusive afternoon teas with local volunteer groups created shared moments of enjoyment and belonging. These experiences reflect the welcoming, supportive community we create every day, one that truly feels like home.

Winter Warmer Initiative

This winter, we’re opening our doors and hearts to our local community.

If you’re aged 65 or over, you’re invited to join us for our Winter Warmer initiative — enjoy a hot, nourishing meal in the comfort of our homes up to three times a week.

With the cost of living rising, we know it’s not always easy to stay warm and well-fed — so we’re here to help. Come along for good food, warmth, and friendly company at Toray Pines Care Home.

LifeLibraryLifeLibrary logo

The life story app that enables genuine, person-centred care to those in residential care

LifeLibrary is an easy-to-use app that allows carers and families to build a digital memory book for each resident. This shared resource helps carers provide personalised care, strengthens communication, and creates opportunities for meaningful engagement and activities.

For families, LifeLibrary provides a valuable connection to their loved ones, offering a window into their daily lives at the care home. By contributing photos, stories, and updates, families become active participants in their loved one’s care journey, fostering a sense of closeness and peace of mind.

“It’s a great resource for families to share and for you to share with our family member. I look forward to looking at the photos… It helps us all to see the activities that mum gets involved in, which I might not otherwise know about, because she often forgets what she’s done.”

Life at Toray Pines

The beauty of Toray Pines care home is that residents can live life at a pace suited for them. We believe life doesn’t stop when you enter a care home and that actually it is the start of a new exciting chapter. Our caring community brings peace of mind to loved ones. At Tanglewood care homes, there are no set visiting hours, we believe guests should be welcome at any time.

In the summer, our landscaped gardens become a lively meeting place. We host themed summer fayres and garden parties where residents, relatives, friends, and neighbours come together. Live music and shared activities create relaxed, joyful moments outdoors.

During the winter months, residents spend time in our warm communal areas. We run our Winter Warmer initiative in these spaces, welcoming local older people for hot meals and friendly company.
