Richard House Care Home offers Residential and Dementia Care

The home is located on the Gorse Road in Grantham. Grantham is a popular market town straddling the London-Edinburgh East Coast Main Line and the River Witham. The home is close to local amenities, green spaces and local wildlife and has easy access to the A1. The town has excellent attractions including the National Trust property Belton House.

Richard House is a 68-bed care home that was developed with residents in mind. Boasting a range of facilities including, ensuite wet-rooms, communal dining rooms and lounges, games room, hairdressers, wellbeing room, cinema, and tearoom. The home provides 24/7 personalised care, as part of our community, residents will be able to continue with their daily routines whilst having the day-to-day needs looked after. Our kitchen team provide nutritious meals and fine dining, if you have any specialist dietary requirements our team can prepare and provide this.

Facilities

Richard House is a beautiful three storey, 68-bed care home designed with residents in mind. The home offers spacious bedrooms with ensuite wet-room facilities, a salon, bar, cinema, café and beautiful lounge and dining areas. A varied activities program will be available daily for residents, to ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy.

At Richard House we believe our home offers residents the start of a new chapter, where residents can decide to live life at a pace that suits them best. We fundamentally believe that life doesn’t stop at Richard House, we provide a caring community that supports new beginnings for residents whilst offering their loved one’s peace of mind. During the summer months our outdoor spaces provide a safe place for families and residents to interact. We firmly believe that guests should be welcome at any time and therefore there are no set visiting hours.

Emma Louise Johnson

Emma has worked within the Health and Social Care Sector for over 22 years. Emma has a natural, caring personality and her passion has always been in making a positive difference to people’s lives. Emma has that same passion now as she did on her very first day and wouldn’t choose any other profession. Emma has had many opportunities throughout her career in care to develop her knowledge and skills which has proudly driven her to her current Home Manager role. She says “Richard House has an excellent team who are kind, caring, and will focus on making people safe, happy and included – not only for the residents that choose to live at Richard House but also their loved ones and friends”. Emma is looking forward to building strong relationships within the community so that the people who choose to live at Richard House can maintain local connections.
