Holbeach Meadows care home offers Residential and Dementia Care

Located at the heart of a new housing estate on Daisy Road in Holbeach, we are proud to present Holbeach Meadows, a residential care home for the people. Holbeach is a small market town in Lincolnshire that sits at the heart of the famous bulb growing region, a neighbour town proximate to Spalding and Wisbech. Our home thrives on convenience, strategically accessible to local amenities that showcase Holbeach’s charm.

Holbeach Meadows is a 66-bed residential care home that provides superior facilities that guarantees resident satisfaction. This includes modern ensuite wet rooms, a hair and nail salon, communal lounges, dining areas, and our very own home cinema. Moreover, our in-house lifestyle coordinators will provide a programme of activities that work in tandem with our residents’ own daily routine, ensuring that each resident is content with their activities throughout the day. As part of our community, we make sure that each resident’s needs are met with quality and comfort, including specific needs for dementia care and residential care. Lastly, our culinary team is fully trained to cater to a variety of delicious home cooked meals, ensuring that every resident is fulfilled.

Residents can take part in a wide range of creative and social activities. Activities include intergenerational therapy with local childminders, petting parties, and themed days such as 1940s events. Each activity supports learning, enjoyment, and wellbeing.

Our team at Holbeach Meadows understand that the comfort, safety, wellbeing and happiness of our residents are at the heart of all we do, therefore our tailored care plans will include everything from medications to likes and dislikes. Facilities

Holbeach Meadows opened on 8 August 2022 and is a beautiful two storey, 66 bed care home designed with residents in mind. Each bedroom is spacious and bright, with an ensuite wet-room facilities. Residents are encouraged to personalise their own spaces to help them make it feel like home.

In the summer months, residents and their guests enjoy time outdoors in our gardens. We host Wild West family fun days and picnic celebrations in these spaces. Our themed life-skills areas add interest and encourage independence.

During the winter months, residents gather in our activity lounges for social events. These include pub quiz nights and our Winter Warmer initiative. We also host educational drop-in legal clinics to support residents and families.

If you’re aged 65 or over, you’re invited to join us for our Winter Warmer initiative — enjoy a hot, nourishing meal in the comfort of our homes up to three times a week.

Life At Holbeach Meadows

At Holbeach Meadows we believe in the philosophy that life doesn’t stop when you come into a care home, it’s the beginning of a wonderful new chapter. Within our caring community our homes give relatives peace of mind and residents a new beginning. Holbeach Meadows allow our residents to determine the pace of life that suits them. Throughout the summer our gardens are the perfect outdoor space for families and visitors to interact within the safe environment of our care home.

Our team arranges regular outings so residents stay connected to the local area. Trips include visits to the Holbeach Hub and nearby garden centres. We also maintain strong links with local Brownies and Girl Guides, which bring energy and intergenerational connection into daily life.

Recent events have brought residents and neighbours together. Our first anniversary gala and World Chocolate Day celebrations created shared moments of pride and fun. These experiences reflect the welcoming, inclusive community we build every day, one that truly feels like home.

Gemma Woodcock

Gemma started in the care sector aged 16, working as a care assistant at weekends whilst still at school. She qualified as nurse in 2004 and enjoyed a varied nursing career working within both the acute and community trusts locally within orthopaedics and trauma and community nursing. She then returned to the acute sector in a trust-wide position specialising in Tissue Viability Nursing, in which she holds a First Class Honours Degree. Following a career break to raise her children, Gemma began her journey with Tanglewood at Cedar Falls, as home trainer in 2020. Gemma’s passion for service improvement has seen her progress into the management team at Tanglewood from Deputy Manager to Home Manager. Gemma acts as a Safeguarding Ambassador, First Aid Trainer and Mental Health First Aider for Tanglewood and is committed to striving for excellence in all areas for our residents, families and team members.
