If you’re aged 65 or over, you’re invited to join us for our Winter Warmer initiative — enjoy a hot, nourishing meal in the comfort of our homes up to three times a week.

With the cost of living rising, we know it’s not always easy to stay warm and well-fed — so we’re here to help. Come along for good food, warmth, and friendly company at Bingley Park Care Home.

The life story app that enables genuine, person-centred care to those in residential care

LifeLibrary is an easy-to-use app that allows carers and families to build a digital memory book for each resident. This shared resource helps carers provide personalised care, strengthens communication, and creates opportunities for meaningful engagement and activities.

For families, LifeLibrary provides a valuable connection to their loved ones, offering a window into their daily lives at the care home. By contributing photos, stories, and updates, families become active participants in their loved one’s care journey, fostering a sense of closeness and peace of mind.

Life At Bingley Park

Situated on the edge of beautiful countryside, Bingley Park embodies the height of luxury senior living. Its carefully crafted living areas create a real home away from home and ensure all our residents can experience the best quality care in lovely surroundings.

Our Lifestyle Coordinators actively plan activities that support enjoyment, memory, and connection. Residents can take part in a wide range of activities. These include St Patrick’s Day craft sessions, visits from exotic animals, and reminiscence activities that encourage storytelling and shared memories.

Seasonal and cultural celebrations take place throughout the year. These include our community Oktoberfest and festive parties, which bring people together in a relaxed, social setting.

Our team arranges regular outings, so residents can enjoy the local area. Trips include visits to Bolton Abbey, Woodbank Garden Centre, and lunches at Websters Fisheries. We also maintain strong links with Eldwick Primary School, which brings regular intergenerational activities into the home.

Recent events have strengthened our local connections. Our grand opening, featuring author Aileen Armitage, brought residents and neighbours together.

Martin Deakin

Having qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1990, I have worked in the independent social care setting since 1992. I have been in management in some role or other since 1993, holding a variety of roles from Home Manager to Operations Director and a brief spell as an owner-provider. I have a strong passion for Person Centred Care and especially appropriate Dementia Care for the Older Person. Great care is not about the building in which the care is provided but about the people that provide that care. I strive to ensure that all team members are managed in a way that brings out their qualities as exceptional carers and to remove any barriers that there may be to provide that care.

Outside of work, I have a family of a wife, 2 daughters and a son, along with 2 rescue chihuahuas! In my spare time I enjoy baking and kickboxing, in which I am hoping to achieve my black belt this year.
