Tucked within the county of Nottinghamshire, Beeston Rise offers upscale senior living with convenience, providing accessible routes to two major cities of Nottingham and Derby by car. Furthermore, our care home is strategically located along the High Road, leading into the small and cosy town of Long Eaton just through the A6005.

Our purpose with Beeston Rise is to provide top-tier care services for a variety of residents who require specific needs, including respite care, palliative care, and dementia care. Beeston Rise is a residential care home that boasts premium amenities, including an activity lounge, foot spa lounge, in-house café, hair and nail salon, therapy room, quiet lounge, tearoom, library, and a games room. During the winter months, residents gather in our cosy sports lounge and bistro. We run our Winter Warmer initiative here and host themed events such as Bistro Italiano nights.

The life story app that enables genuine, person-centred care to those in residential care

LifeLibrary is an easy-to-use app that allows carers and families to build a digital memory book for each resident. This shared resource helps carers provide personalised care, strengthens communication, and creates opportunities for meaningful engagement and activities.

For families, LifeLibrary provides a valuable connection to their loved ones, offering a window into their daily lives at the care home. By contributing photos, stories, and updates, families become active participants in their loved one’s care journey, fostering a sense of closeness and peace of mind.

Our team arranges regular outings so residents can enjoy the local area. Trips include visits to Nottingham’s Winter Wonderland, Rawcliffe Lake, and familiar rugby clubs from residents’ pasts. We also proudly sponsor Phoenix FC, which keeps local football at the heart of community life.

Recent events have brought residents and neighbours together. Our intergenerational projects with The Lanes Primary School and our community Christmas market created shared moments of connection and celebration.

Michelle King brings over two decades of experience in health and social care to her role as Home Manager at Beeston Rise Care Home in Nottingham. Her professional journey began in 2003 following a successful career in IT as a Consultant Software Engineer. A transition into the care sector saw Michelle initially take on an administrative role, where her dedication and skill quickly led her to step into leadership.

Michelle is passionate about delivering high-quality, personalised care and takes great pride in creating a supportive, vibrant environment where residents feel truly at home. She leads the team at Beeston Rise with warmth, enthusiasm, and a shared commitment to excellence and compassion.

Away from the home, Michelle enjoys expressing her creativity through sewing, handbag-making, and baking. She remains inspired by the ongoing enhancements at Beeston Rise and is proud to be part of a team that is continually striving to make a positive difference in the lives of residents.
