This purpose-built home which opens on 16th November is a beautiful 66 bed care home with the residents at the forefront of its design. Each bedroom is spacious and bright, with an en suite wetroom. Residents are encouraged to personalise their own spaces to help them make it feel like home.
The home offers a garden room, cinema, hair salon, bar, garden and tea room and a variety of lounges which are designed to suit people who enjoy socialising and participating in our exciting activities program as well as those who enjoy quieter activities. Avocet House is located on the newest development in Boston, the Quadrant. The Quadrant is an expanding residential area that boasts a number of commercial outlets as well as food and drink outlets, with Boston United’s new football ground only a stones throw away across the A16. Only a short drive from the town itself, the Boston Marketplace hosts a twice-weekly market where local vendors have been selling produce for over 450 years. The surrounding area is home to the local landmark known as The Boston Stump which can be seen on a clear day from Avocet House. We are looking forward to the summer months, where in time as the gardens mature they will become the perfect place to host families and visitors in the safety of the care home environment.
