Cloverleaf had a thrilling afternoon when The Mobile Mini Zoo came to visit. Sam, who runs the company, brought along some of the over 100 animals she has rescued. We were delighted to meet Bob the snake, Claude the Bearded Dragon, Betty the Tortoise, and Benny the Skunk.
Residents had the chance to handle these amazing animals, sitting them on their knees to stroke and cuddle them. As the animals made their way around, Sam shared their stories and fascinating facts about each species.
This visit wasn’t just fun—it was beneficial too. Animal therapy is known to support good mental health and well-being by releasing endorphins, which have a calming effect and reduce stress levels.
