Meet Storm the Therapy Horse: Beeston Rise’s Joyful Easter Fair

Beeston Rise warmly welcomed a very special guest to its Easter Fair – Storm the Therapy Horse. Situated at Ellis Grove in Beeston, Nottingham, this vibrant care home was filled with joy and excitement on a recent Sunday.

Storm arrived, bringing an air of cheer to the lovely ladies and gentlemen at Beeston Rise. Accompanied by Ami, a treasured member of the care team, Storm made his rounds, spreading happiness with every gentle hoofstep.

The residents’ faces lit up as they greeted this beautiful animal, exchanging soft brushes and hearty laughs.

During the visit, Storm had the honour of meeting the mayor of Broxtowe, who was equally captivated by the majestic therapy horse. Together, they presented a heartwarming scene, reinforcing the power of community and connection.

Throughout the day, residents enjoyed generous servings of chin tickles and brightly coloured carrot treats, a rare delight that brought even more smiles. Laughter echoed in the hallways as staff joined in, creating memories that residents will treasure long after Storm has left.

With visits like these, Beeston Rise continues to create meaningful experiences, emphasising the vital role of joy and companionship in every resident’s life.
