This week at Meadows Park our residents went out for a visit to the local bowls club in Louth. For some of our residents who used to belong to bowls clubs or who have played over the years, it was a lovely morning, they even became the unofficial umpires.
Our residents had freshly made scones and coffee, one resident commented ‘It was great to be out of the home and doing something different, I loved watching the bowls and chatting with new people.’
We are already planning our next visit and have been putting the corridors to good use with a very competitive games of carpet bowls. The residents have really enjoyed this and have requested we have regular friendly competitions.
Meadows Park is currently welcoming new residents, if you or a loved one would like to find out more, please contact our team on 01507 304344.
