Meadows Park celebrate 2nd birthday

Meadows Park Care home has turned 2!

We celebrated with our wonderful residents and their families, on this momentous occasion by holding a birthday party. The bunting was up and proudly waving in the wind to mark this special event. Typical British weather meant the party was inside, however, this did not stop the partying! We had a live singer Josh Wylie come to perform for everybody with various classics to more modern songs, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Tony was dancing all afternoon, making sure all other residents were making special memories. Everyone was joining in with either singing or dancing, which ensured a good time was had by all. Our live entertainment was followed by a lavish traditional afternoon-tea style buffet for residents and their families.

Annette, Maureen’s daughter commented ‘It is lovely that families are always invited to join in with relatives for any entertainment at Meadows Park’.

Our home manager Zoe Randall commented ‘It was so lovely to receive great feedback from residents and families about one of the most memorable events we have hosted to date. Our tables were laid out banquet style, which gave the true community feel that there is here, at Meadows Park. Our kitchen team provided an amazing selection of homemade treats for all. We certainly didn’t let the great British weather dampen our day for our second birthday celebrations’.
