Magic, Laughter, and Festive Fun: Sandpiper Residents enjoy spectacular Aladdin pantomime

Sandpiper Care Home was filled with magic and merriment on 13th December 2025, when residents were treated to a truly spectacular Aladdin pantomime, performed by the wonderful Eva Long Productions.

Residents gathered together in the home’s cosy upstairs lounge, which had been beautifully decorated with festive touches, creating the perfect setting for an afternoon of entertainment. From the very first song, the pantomime captivated everyone, with lively performances, familiar tunes and plenty of laughter echoing around the room.

The production team arrived dressed in fabulous, colourful costumes that brought smiles to every face and prompted many chuckles of delight. Residents thoroughly enjoyed joining in with the fun, reacting to the characters and soaking up the joyful atmosphere created by the talented performers.

At Sandpiper Care Home, providing opportunities for fun alongside meaningful mental stimulation is at the heart of daily life, supporting residents’ wellbeing and happiness. The pantomime was a wonderful example of this, offering both entertainment and engagement in a warm, social setting.

It was a memorable afternoon that left residents smiling long after the final bow – a perfect dose of festive cheer and theatrical magic.
