The residents at Toray Pines decided they would like to go somewhere different for a coffee this week, so they decided to have a walk down to the Lion’s Den to join in with their local coffee morning.
We were welcomed with lots of smiles and asked what we wanted to drink. Each resident had a cuppa and enjoyed the biscuits on offer. Some of the residents bumped into friends of theirs and had a good catch up.
Pam said that she ‘I enjoyed this trip out and would love to do it more often.’
We enjoyed everyone’s company so much that we invited them all to join us at our home to have a coffee morning with us. We were joined for our coffee morning by lots of familiar faces from Lion’s Den who all tasted a delicious Victoria Sponge Cake baked by our Kitchen Team.
This was a great opportunity for exchanging stories, the local area was a favourite topic and gave our residents the chance to reminisce with others who had fond memories in Coningsby.
