Residents of Sleaford Hall recently enjoyed a delightful excursion to Woodhall Spa, soaking in the beauty of the day. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as they set off for a few hours out in the fresh air. A scenic drive took them past the picturesque Jubilee Park, the charming Petwood Hotel, and the famous Kinema in the Woods.
Upon arrival, the group stretched their legs with a lovely walk through the village. They took time to explore a few charity shops, where resident Jason even found a stylish new cap. Next, they strolled around the memorial to the 617 Squadron, reflecting on history and community.
The outing continued with a much-anticipated stop at the Chip Monks fish and chips shop in Coningsby, where a traditional lunch of golden fish and chips awaited. Laughter and conversation flowed as the residents enjoyed delicious food together.
Shirley, in particular, cherished the opportunity to reminisce about her childhood days in Woodhall Spa, making the trip even more special. As they returned to Sleaford Hall, heartfelt gratitude filled the air for Pete, their Myley Tour driver, for making the day possible.
With happy memories created and friendships strengthened, the day blossomed under the clear blue sky, leaving everyone looking forward to their next adventure.
