Cloverleaf Care Home on Long Leys Road, Lincoln, recently enjoyed a delightful outing thanks to Myley Tours. The day began with a visit to the historic Lincoln Castle, where residents could explore the picturesque grounds. As they meandered around the site, one resident proudly recounted his experiences of constructing the stands for the cannons, leaving everyone captivated with his stories.
After a fulfilling morning of exploration, everyone appreciated a lovely break at the on-site café, delighting in tea, coffee, scrumptious scones, and tempting cake. It was the kind of morning that stirred fond memories and brought smiles to every face, with laughter echoing through the air.
The adventure continued in the afternoon with a trip to Pennells Garden Centre, where residents enjoyed a dose of retail therapy. Surrounded by vibrant flowers and lush plants, they wandered through the beautiful displays, soaking in the enchanting scents of nature. Their thoughts turned to gardening and decorating their own spaces, igniting a spark of enthusiasm.
To wrap up the day, another pit stop at the café proved a delightful finish, with more cups of tea and sweet treats shared amongst friends. It was a happy day filled with laughter, connection and cherished moments, leaving the residents of Cloverleaf eagerly looking forward to more outings in the future.
