Humberston House Resident Joy’s Wish Comes True with Grimethorpe Brass Band Experience

Aged 95 and a lifelong lover of music, Joy had not been to a live concert in many years. While she is more familiar with orchestras and symphonies, she had never experienced a Brass Band concert — until now. With the help of our dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator, Hayley, Joy was able to attend a performance by the Grimethorpe Brass Band on Saturday, and the joy on her face was unforgettable.
