As we step into 2024, our calendar is brimming with exciting plans, and we kicked off the year with a vibrant celebration in honor of Elvis Presley on what would have been his birthday! The lounges were transformed into a nostalgic haven with 50’s and music-themed decorations, a sea of polka dots, and our team swapping their usual uniforms for outfits reminiscent of the era. The soulful tunes of Elvis resonated throughout the building, setting the stage for a morning filled with lively energy.
But the festivities didn’t stop there! Our culinary offerings underwent a delightful transformation, featuring a menu inspired by Elvis’s favorite foods. From savory delights like bacon-wrapped meatloaf and all-day breakfast to sweet treats including lemon meringue pie, peanut butter and banana sandwiches, and coconut cake, our residents savored every bite of this gastronomic tribute.
As the afternoon unfolded, our residents were treated to an enchanting performance of The King’s greatest hits, skillfully delivered by our resident singer and Front of House Manager, Martin. The air was filled with music, laughter, and the timeless charm of Elvis Presley’s melodies, creating lasting memories for all who were part of this joyous celebration.
