Holbeach Meadows Care Home opened its doors on 13th October to welcome family members, friends and neighbours for a special Harvest Festival service, kindly organised by Churches Together.
Held in our spacious reception area, the service welcomed a record-breaking number of residents, alongside many visitors, who came together to celebrate the harvest and give thanks for all that we have.
The occasion was filled with joy and community spirit as everyone joined in singing, playing musical instruments and taking part in the celebrations. As part of the service, we were delighted to present a collection of food items generously donated by our dedicated team members and visitors to the Holbeach Community Larder.
The Holbeach Community Larder provides a much-needed food bank service to support people within our local community. Representatives spoke to the congregation about the valuable work they do and expressed their sincere gratitude for the donations, which will help those who need it most.
It was a wonderful opportunity to bring people together, celebrate the spirit of harvest and show our support for a very worthwhile local cause.
A heartfelt thank you to Churches Together for organising such a lovely service, and to everyone who attended and contributed to the food collection. Your kindness and generosity helped make the day a memorable success for everyone at Holbeach Meadows Care Home!
