Get to know me! Activity at Cedar Falls Care Home

Get to know me is an activity Cedar Falls Care Home have created to encourage our residents to find out more about one another.

Written on a beach ball is several questions including ‘Who were your childhood heroes?’ ‘What are your siblings full names?’  ‘What was your religion growing up?’ ‘What is the name of your best friend?’

This activity not only encourages our residents to find out more about each other but, it also helps our residents to have a sense of confidence and competence through using a skill, promotes communication and it provides an opportunity to reminisce and reconnect with their past self. We love to celebrate the unique lives of our residents, including the inspiring story of the remarkable Brenda at Tanglewood.
