Garden Gala Brings Community Together in Support of Residents

There was a wonderful community spirit at Richard House Care Home as residents, relatives, friends and visitors came together for a fantastic Garden Gala in support of the Residents’ Fund.

The event was a huge success, with guests enjoying an afternoon packed with entertainment, delicious food and family-friendly activities, all while raising money to support future projects and experiences for residents.

Although the final fundraising total is still being confirmed, the team is already looking forward to planning the next exciting initiative that the funds will help make possible.

Visitors were entertained by the talented magician Magic Merlin, face painter Vicky, and singer Lottie Howard, whose performances helped create a fun and lively atmosphere throughout the afternoon. Guests also enjoyed a BBQ, bar, residents’ stall, homemade cakes and sweet treats prepared by staff and families, traditional games, and a raffle featuring an array of generous prizes.

The home has extended its heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered and supported the event.
