Fun and games with recycled materials at Richard House

Last week at Richard House Care Home Grantham, Activities Co-ordinator Anita Asken decided to make good use out of recycled cardboard.

Anita started by making a giant marble run which then created a competition between team member and residents to see who could get the best score. Anita used both ice cream lollies and carboard boxes to recreate the marble run, it was a great way to get the residents involved in a fun engineering challenge.

Our assistant Head Chef Mikey was also up for the challenge of using recycled materials. He became an ice cream man even playing the traditional music. Our residents absolutely loved it.

Another fun day had by all at Richard House.
