As we begin to enter the season of Spring, our residents wanted to create beautiful, sweet smelling centre pieces for the dining room tables.
As a kind gesture one of our resident’s daughter Annette visited the home and gave our residents a flower making class.
Meadows Park Activities Co-ordinator commented ‘Our residents had an absolutely blossoming time, lots of laughs and giggles. The residents filled our home with beautiful flower arrangements.’
Flower arranging is an activity that our residents love to take part in. Not only does it result in wonderful arrangements decorating the home, but it also improves mood and happiness, and it can support in suppressing anxiety and stress. It provides our residents with a social activity where they can catch up with friends over an activity, tea, and cake.
Meadows Park provides residential and dementia care. The home has been designed with residents in mind and provides fantastic facilities. Including hairdressing and nail salon, cinema, and restaurant-styled dining rooms.
