On a delightful day at Abbey Wood Lodge, excitement filled the air as Boo’s Mobile Zoo paid a special visit. The renowned mobile zoo brought along a captivating collection of exotic animals, ready to charm both residents and team members.
The array of creatures showcased included hairless guinea pigs, meerkats, lizards, a giant snake, a tortoise, and a magnificent barn owl.
Residents gathered eagerly, their faces lighting up with anticipation for the next animal introduction. Laughter and lively chatter echoed through the room, punctuated by moments of joyful curiosity and a sprinkle of nervousness as they encountered these unique animals up close.
Animal lovers in the group were obvious, their smiles wide and engaging as they learnt remarkable facts and had the chance to bond with creatures they had never seen so closely. Some brave souls stepped forward to touch or hold these animals, surprising themselves with their courage, while others chose to enjoy the spectacle from a distance, exuberance evident in every expression.
The visit turned out to be more than just educational; it visibly uplifted everyone’s spirits. The smiles, laughter, and engaging conversations during the sessions highlighted the powerful benefits of animal-assisted therapy. The atmosphere was charged with positivity, nurturing a sense of community and connection.
