Cloverleaf’s Spring Fayre Sparks Joyful Community Celebration

Cloverleaf on Long Leys Road in Lincoln recently transformed into a hub of joy and togetherness during its annual Spring Fayre. Families, friends, and local community members gathered for a delightful afternoon filled with laughter and camaraderie.

The atmosphere was electric as guitarist George serenaded guests with a variety of songs, inspiring many to join in and even sing along. His melodies set a lovely tone, making everyone feel welcome and relaxed.

The aroma of sizzling barbecue wafted through the air as the dedicated kitchen team grilled up tasty treats. The cake stall showcased an irresistible selection, featuring delectable cakes and indulgent brownies that left attendees craving for more.

Administrator Sarah donned the role of bar maid for the day, skillfully serving a range of refreshments remains, complementing the lively activities underway. Manager Jill enthusiastically engaged guests at the Games stall, where folks tested their knowledge with an Easter quiz and challenged themselves to estimate the number of chocolates in a jar. Players tried their luck at lollipop games, drawing excitement for various prizes, including Easter eggs.

Activities team members Vicki and Sarah successfully ran the tombola, offering residents’ handcrafted creations ranging from Pom Pom chicks to festive Easter biscuits and creamy milkshake cones. Meanwhile, Deputy Manager Melissa alongside the care staff ensured every resident felt included, bringing them outside to partake in the festivities.

A surprise visit from the Easter Bunny and her friend added extra magic, delighting young and old alike as they weaved through the crowd, creating smiles all around in anticipation of the raffle. Activities lead Hayley, alongside Freya, announced the winning tickets, supported by Isla who helped distribute prizes under the charming watch of the Easter Bunny.
