Cloverleaf Care Home in Lincoln recently celebrated a heartwarming Rainbow Day in honour of Pride Month. Residents and staff came together to embrace joy and inclusivity through a delightful afternoon that radiated warmth and happiness.
The day began with the residents eagerly participating in discussions at their recent meeting, where the idea of a vibrant, rainbow-themed celebration sparked enthusiasm. As preparations took shape, the home was transformed with colourful decorations that mirrored the spirit of Pride.
Upbeat music filled the air as residents danced joyfully, adorned with Hawaiian garlands and colourful props that uplifted their spirits. Staff members joined in the fun, dressing in bright, festive outfits that added to the lively atmosphere. Games such as hula hoop target throw and balloon toss brought laughter and excitement, fostering camaraderie among everyone present.
To complement the celebration, an array of colourful cocktails and mocktails were made available. The sweet treats did not disappoint either, with delicious rainbow cakes and refreshing ice lollies that delighted the taste buds of all participating.
