During the Euros, all the Tanglewood homes were assigned football teams, and Cloverleaf was given Romania. We were challenged to organise not only football-related activities but also Romanian-themed events to make it fun, exciting, and engaging for the residents.
To celebrate, we created vibrant decorations to brighten up the home, prepared delicious Romanian recipes for food tasting, and even learned Romanian folk dancing. One of the highlights was arranging a pet therapy session.
Hayley, our Activities Lead, has a Romanian rescue dog named Bailey, making this the perfect opportunity to bring her in to meet the residents. Bailey was welcomed with open arms, receiving plenty of attention, strokes, cuddles, and treats for being such a good girl.
Bailey absolutely loved all the attention and can’t wait to come back again soon.
