Hunters Creek care home offers Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Palliative, Respite and Day Care.

Hunters Creek is situated on the main A16 London Road in the vibrant market town of Boston. The surrounding area is home to a medieval network of lanes hosting many independent shops, cafes and eateries.

Hunters Creek is a 88-bed care home. The home offers a variety of social spaces which are designed to suit people who enjoy socialising and participating in our exciting activities program as well as those who enjoy quieter activities.

The Forget-Me-Not cafe is a bustling favourite, where Residents and guests alike gather for tea, cakes and catch-ups. Hunters Creek offers their residents an independent lifestyle whilst also providing 24/7-person-centred care.

Facilities

This purpose-built home has been beautifully maintained since it opened in 1991, and has since undergone an extensive refurbishment project. Spacious and bright bedrooms offer the comforts of a true home away from home. Residents are encouraged to personalise their own space, and maintenance teams are always on hand to hang that cherished family photo.

Life At Hunters Creek

Hunters Creek allows residents to choose a pace of life that suits them best, whilst providing them a new chapter in their life within a caring community. The beauty of our home is that relatives can have peace of mind knowing their loved one is in safe hands. The homes delightfully manicured gardens offer a perfect setting for loved ones and friends to visit in the safety of a care home environment. There are no set visiting hours, in keeping with the Tanglewood philosophy, guests are welcome any time.

Home Manager

Rachel French

Rachel started her career in Health and Social care in 2009 as a care assistant. In 2012 she became a senior carer. Rachel has achieved NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care and NVQ level 5 in Health and Social Care. Rachel has a passion for complex dementia care. In 2017 she took up her first Registered Manager’s post and subsequently two Home Manager posts in struggling care homes leading her team in turning them around. The residents’ best interests are always at the forefront of all decisions that Rachel makes. She is passionate and dedicated and it brings her great satisfaction to know that her residents live in a happy home and her team members work in a happy workplace.
