Beside the Seaside Summer Fair

What an absolutely fantastic afternoon we had at our Beside the Seaside Summer Fair! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along to support us. It was so lovely to welcome our wonderful residents, their families, friends and members of the local community for an afternoon full of smiles, laughter and seaside fun.

There was something for everyone to enjoy! From testing your luck and skills on our fair games to browsing the stalls, the atmosphere was filled with friendly competition, plenty of cheering and lots of laughter. Seeing so many generations coming together to make happy memories is exactly what community is all about.

Of course, no summer fair would be complete without delicious food! Our incredibly talented Chef Ben and kitchen team worked tirelessly to prepare a fantastic selection of tasty treats, including homemade cakes that proved to be a firm favourite with our visitors. Their hard work certainly didn’t go unnoticed!

A huge thank you to Party Delights Ice Cream Van for helping everyone cool down with their delicious ice creams on such a warm day. They were a very popular stop throughout the afternoon!

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to Helen Paints Lincoln, whose amazing face painting was a huge success. It was wonderful to see children and adults alike leaving with beautifully painted faces and huge smiles!

The afternoon was made even more special by the incredibly talented Lottie Howard, who entertained us with a wonderful selection of live music. Her beautiful voice had residents, relatives, staff and visitors singing along, dancing and reminiscing, creating a truly heartwarming atmosphere that perfectly captured the spirit of the day.

Most importantly, we are absolutely delighted to share that, thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised over £400! Every single penny will go directly into our Residents’ Fund, helping us provide even more meaningful activities, exciting outings, special entertainers and memorable experiences for the wonderful people who call Cloverleaf Care Home their home.

Thank you once again to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, performed and helped make the day such a tremendous success. Your support means the world to us, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to our next community event!
