Beeston in bloom

Hold onto your chrysanthemums, because we’ve got some bloomin’ good news from City Flowers!

Fiona and Kayleigh, our dynamic floral duo from City Flowers (Aw lymns), decided to sprinkle a little extra flower power in our lives. So, on a bright and cheerful Tuesday morning, they waltzed in, ready to get creative with our lovely lady residents.

Together, they crafted beautiful flower arrangements that our residents now proudly display in their bedrooms. And that’s not all! They even left a stunning floral arrangement right at the heart of our home in the reception area. The best part? It was all absolutely, positively, 100% FREE!

But wait, there’s more fun to come! Fiona and Kayleigh will be back in December, and this time, they’re bringing some Christmas cheer with a fabulous wreath-making workshop. Our residents will team up with their family members for this festive extravaganza. For just £20, you can create your very own Christmas wreath, and they’re sure to be as jolly as Santa’s sleigh!

Now, here’s the icing on the gingerbread house – we’re covering the cost for our residents’ wreaths, because we believe in spreading the holiday joy far and wide. But, if family members want to make their own, they’re more than welcome to join the fun for a small fee. Our little elves have done some research, and guess what? Almost all our families are eager to take part in this holly-jolly event!

So, get ready to deck the halls, because once we have a date from Fiona, we’ll be shouting from the rooftops about this fantastic Christmas workshop. It’s going to be a merry and bright occasion, and we can’t wait to make it official!

At our care home, every day is a chance to create unforgettable moments, and Fiona and Kayleigh from City Flowers are helping us do just that. We’re ready to make some festive memories together, and it’s going to be a holly, jolly good time!
