The Tanglewood team members make our care homes into great communities. From management, to the teams in care, catering, housekeeping & laundry, maintenance, lifestyles and administration, everyone unites with the collective goal of working together to serve our residents in their home away from home. A Personal Care Plan is devised for every resident, which is individually tailored to ensure the most comfortable transition to the next chapter of their life.
Catering is provided on site by our fully trained catering team members. Menus are devised with the inclusion of the residents. Alternatives are always available in addition to the daily menu. We offer snacks and drinks 24 hours a day. The dining experience is extremely important to us, and we endeavour to deliver the same high-quality, nutritional experience, irrespective of the dietary requirements for each individual.
We strive to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in our homes. We have a dedicated housekeeping team who care for our environment, ensuring it is spotlessly clean and fresh, whilst ensuring we meet required infection control standards as we go.
Our dedicated Lifestyles Coordinators create a full activity programme, including meaningful sessions created to incorporate our residents’ choices and wishes. Some may prefer group activities or events, where others may prefer some one-to-one time or a trip out.
Regular resident and relative meetings take place within the home. Your feedback is so important to us, as it enables us to maintain and enhance our standards. We listen, but most importantly, we act on the feedback we receive.
