A resident’s Christmas wish comes true during festive reindeer visit at Richard House

Residents at Richard House Care Home were treated to an unforgettable and truly magical morning when two very special visitors arrived—Blitzen and Cupid from Majestic Reindeer.

Excitement filled the air as the beautiful reindeer gently approached residents, happily accepting strokes, fuss, and plenty of admiration. The courtyard was filled with smiles, wonder, and a sense of pure Christmas magic.

For one resident, the moment was especially emotional. When asked recently what his Christmas wish would be, he had replied, “To see a reindeer.” Today, that wish came true. As he stepped outside and saw Blitzen and Cupid waiting for him, he was completely overwhelmed with joy. Not only did he see them—he had the chance to stroke and feed one of the reindeer, making the experience even more extraordinary.

It was a heartwarming reminder of the power of simple moments, the magic of the festive season, and the importance of creating opportunities that bring happiness and wonder to the people we care for
