A Magical Easter Celebration at Richard House Care Home, Grantham

Residents at Richard House Care Home in Grantham enjoyed a truly magical Easter celebration filled with joy, surprises, and heartwarming moments.

A highlight of the day was a special visit from a local petting farm, bringing with it a delightful selection of animals including bunnies, a friendly dog, and the star of the show – a charming Shetland pony. Residents had the opportunity to stroke, pet, and cuddle the animals, sparking smiles and fond memories throughout the home.

For those unable to leave their rooms, the Shetland pony made special one-on-one visits, bringing the Easter cheer right to their bedside. These thoughtful moments ensured every resident could experience the joy of the occasion, regardless of mobility.

Adding to the festivities, our fabulous kitchen team surprised everyone with a beautifully prepared charcuterie board, offering a luxurious and tasty treat to mark the day. And in a generous gesture of community spirit, Richard House received a lovely delivery of Easter eggs, kindly donated by Nottingham Triumph Owners MCC. This thoughtful donation brought smiles and gratitude from all our residents.

Easter is a time of togetherness, and we’re incredibly proud of our team and community supporters for making this celebration so special. It’s moments like these that make our home feel truly like a family.
