42nd wedding anniversary celebrations at Tanglewood Care Home

Joan and Ivan who were married 42 years ago after meeting in the same building they both worked in, have celebrated their anniversary this week at Tanglewood Care Homes.

Joan who had discussed her wedding day and anniversary previously with Lifestyles, was touched and surprised when the home planned a special afternoon of celebration.

As a surprise the afternoon tea trolley appeared festooned with balloons, a banner, and a beautiful cake made by our kitchen with fresh strawberries and blueberries, which was then shared among residents.

Joan commented, ‘What a marvellous thing to have done, thank you very much.’
